Most tools built to calculate cost of website projects ask you ten questions and hand back a range: "$3,000 to $15,000," which is not really an answer. Here are four real questions instead. Answer them honestly and you will know our actual price before you finish reading this page.
What Market-Data Calculators Actually Show
Real published market data, sourced by agencies like WebFX and Codeable, breaks website cost down roughly the same way everywhere. Template design runs $500 to $2,000. Semi-custom design, where most small businesses land, runs $2,000 to $7,500. Fully custom design starts around $5,000 and climbs past $20,000. E-commerce adds real cost on top of any of those tiers. A small WooCommerce store runs $1,500 to $8,000. A mid-size store with a real catalog and multiple payment gateways runs $5,000 to $25,000. Ongoing maintenance sits at $30 to $500 a month for most small business sites. That line item is the one most build quotes leave out entirely. These numbers are honest and well-sourced. They are also still ranges, which is exactly the gap the four questions below close.
Question 1: How Many Pages Do You Need?
Five pages or fewer points to Starter at $799. Up to ten pages points to Professional at $1,999. Fifteen or more, or you genuinely do not know yet, points to Enterprise at $3,999+. Page count is the single biggest driver of price. Every unique page is its own design and content pass, not a copy-paste of the last one.
Question 2: Do You Need E-Commerce or Booking?
Yes moves you to Enterprise, regardless of page count. Customers paying you or booking directly through the site both need real backend setup, not a plugin switched on and left alone. Our Enterprise tier includes e-commerce / woocommerce ready and membership / booking system for exactly that reason, tested end to end before launch, not assumed to work because the plugin's own demo did.
Question 3: How Much Content Already Exists?
A site with real content to migrate, blog posts, product listings, case studies, costs more in time than a brand-new build with a blank slate. That holds even at the same page count. Content migration that also protects existing SEO rankings is its own real cost driver, covered in the full cost breakdown.
Question 4: How Many Rounds of Changes Do You Expect to Need?
Starter includes 1 round of revisions. Professional includes 2 rounds of revisions. Enterprise includes unlimited revisions. If you know stakeholders will want several rounds of feedback, that alone can justify moving up a tier even at a lower page count.
Your Answer, All in One Table
Most calculators give you a number and stop there. Here is the full scope behind each one of ours, so you can check it against your own four answers above:
| Package | Price | Pages | Revisions | Delivery |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $799 | Up to 5 responsive pages | 1 round of revisions | 2-week delivery |
| Professional | $1,999 | Up to 10 responsive pages | 2 rounds of revisions | 3 to 4 week delivery |
| Enterprise | $3,999+ | 15+ pages (or unlimited) | Unlimited revisions | 4 to 8 week delivery |

Why We Publish a Table Instead of a Slider
Some website cost calculators online are genuinely well built. They pull real third- party market data, cite where the numbers come from, and give you a working range in seconds. What every one of them still hands back is a range, $6,500 to $15,000, because that is what third-party market data produces. Our four questions above hand back one number, because it is our own price, not an estimate of what the market charges. Real, named projects sit behind it too: Falcon Ridge and Carter Hearing. Both link to their live sites, not a market-average figure with no project attached to it.
If Your Project Does Not Fit Neatly
Some projects genuinely sit between tiers, or need something none of these three cover. That still gets a fixed number, not an hourly rate. Tell us what the site needs to do and we quote it the same way: one itemized price, agreed in writing before anything gets built. Full detail on what drives a quote up or down either way is in website redesign cost breakdown, and whether it is a redesign or a brand-new build, the real range across every path is covered in how much a website actually costs.
