Best roofing SEO companies guide cover with ten agencies compared and measured

The Websloop: web design for US roofing, plumbing and construction companies. We build fast, SEO-first websites that bring in calls.

Get a free quote

The best roofing SEO companies for most roofers are Roofex SEO for a roofing-only specialist on month-to-month terms, Skill Mammoth for the lowest published prices, Hook Agency for established roofers with $3M to $15M in revenue, and CinchLocal if you want an agency that works with one roofer per market. Thrive, Scorpion, Built-Right Digital, Roofing Webmasters, 1Digital and Profit Roofing Systems round out the ten below.

What makes this list different: we checked every price and contract term on each company’s own website, and we measured each company’s own site for speed and authority. An agency selling you fast, well-ranked pages should have one itself. Only 3 of the 10 loaded their main content inside Google’s 2.5 second target on a phone. People search for this as the best roofing SEO companies, best roofing SEO, roofing SEO agencies, roofing SEO companies, SEO companies for roofing companies or roofing SEO experts; it is the same shortlist.

Disclosure: we are Websloop, and we sell fixed-price website and SEO work to roofers. We are not on the ranked list, because we are not an ongoing SEO agency, and where we fit is explained honestly further down.

How did we compare these roofing SEO companies?

We took the roofing SEO companies that appear most on Google for these searches and in the roundups ranking beside them, and checked the same things for each on 28 September 2026:

  • Published price and terms, read on the company’s own site, not copied from another roundup.
  • Focus: roofing only, home services, or a generalist agency with a roofing page.
  • Their own website speed: one Google PageSpeed Insights run on mobile per page.
  • Authority: OpenPageRank score (0 to 10) and referring domains, a rough measure of how many other sites link to them.

What we did not measure: client results. No outside party can verify another agency’s rankings or revenue claims, so we do not repeat them as fact. One speed test is a snapshot, not a verdict, and a slow homepage does not prove the agency builds slow sites for clients. It does tell you what they are comfortable publishing.

Chart of how fast the best roofing SEO companies' own websites load on a phone
Generated from our PageSpeed Insights runs, 28 September 2026.

1. Roofex SEO: best roofing-only specialist without a contract

Roofex SEO has worked only with roofers since 2018 and publishes both a starting price and its terms, which few roofing SEO companies do. The pitch is specialist knowledge of storm season, insurance work, retail and commercial jobs, and rankings in the map pack and AI answers. Month to month means you can leave if the work does not show up in your calls.

The trade-off: $2,000 a month is a real commitment for a one-crew roofer, and a slow homepage of its own is worth asking about.

  • Focus: Roofers only, since 2018.
  • Published price: Plans from $2,000 a month.
  • Terms: Month-to-month, no long-term contracts.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 64/100 on mobile, main content in 6.6s. localroofingseo.agency

2. Skill Mammoth: best published price for smaller roofers

Skill Mammoth publishes the lowest monthly prices on this list and says there are no contracts. Its plans cover roofing SEO, reviews, Google Business Profile management and AI search, and it builds its own roof-estimate software. Its own roundup ranks itself first, with a disclosure, which is fair to know when you read it.

The trade-off: its authority is low, with few sites linking to it, so ask to see roofing clients ranking today in a market like yours.

  • Focus: Web design and local SEO for service businesses, with its own roof-estimate software.
  • Published price: $350, $750 and $1,500 a month.
  • Terms: No contracts.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 86/100 on mobile, main content in 3.2s. skillmammoth.com

3. Hook Agency: best for established roofers with bigger budgets

Hook Agency is one of the best-known names in contractor marketing and publishes its prices clearly: SEO from $2,800 a month and websites at $12,000 or $24,000 spread over a year. It says it works best with home service companies doing $3M to $15M in revenue, which is an honest filter most agencies never state.

The trade-off: if you are below that revenue band, you are not who they built the offer for, and their own homepage took 17.5 seconds to show its main content on a phone in our test.

  • Focus: Home services, for companies with $3M to $15M in revenue.
  • Published price: SEO from $2,800 a month; websites $12K or $24K split over 12 months.
  • Terms: Not stated on the homepage.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 43/100 on mobile, main content in 17.5s. hookagency.com

4. CinchLocal: best if you want market exclusivity

CinchLocal works with one roofer per market and says it locks other roofing companies in your area out once you sign. That answers the biggest worry about roofing-only agencies: that the same team is also working for the roofer down the road. It prices by market and puts typical roofing SEO at $1,000 to $3,500 or more a month.

The trade-off: no published price for your area until you get on a call.

  • Focus: Roofing SEO with one roofer per market.
  • Published price: Priced by market; says roofing SEO typically runs $1,000 to $3,500+ a month.
  • Terms: Not stated; exclusivity locks out other roofers in your area.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 38/100 on mobile, main content in 6.9s. cinchlocal.com

5. Roofing Webmasters: best-known roofing-only volume shop

Roofing Webmasters works only with roofers and says it has worked with more than 1,000 roofing companies. That volume brings deep pattern knowledge of what ranks for roofers, and it ranks for many of the searches in this guide itself.

The trade-off that comes with volume: your strategy may look like many other roofers’, and it does not publish a price. Its homepage was the slowest we measured.

  • Focus: Roofers only; says it has worked with 1,000+ roofing companies.
  • Published price: Not published; starts with "a small charge" to the card.
  • Terms: Not stated on the homepage.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 75/100 on mobile, main content in 26.3s. roofingwebmasters.com

6. Thrive: best full-service generalist

Thrive has offered roofing SEO since 2005 and does every channel, from SEO to ads to video. It holds a top position for “roofing SEO company” itself, which is a credential in its own right. Its quote form starts at a $2,500 to $5,000 monthly budget, which tells you where it sits.

The trade-off: roofing is one of many industries it serves, so ask who on the team has roofing clients and how often they work on your account.

  • Focus: Full-service agency across many industries; roofing SEO since 2005.
  • Published price: Not published; its quote form starts at a $2,500 to $5,000 monthly budget.
  • Terms: Not stated on the page.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 65/100 on mobile, main content in 2.3s. thriveagency.com

7. Scorpion: best for roofers who want a software platform

Scorpion combines a marketing team with its own website system, AI tools for ads, rankings and reviews, and a 24/7 AI answering service. It says it has helped roofers for over 20 years and has the highest OpenPageRank score of any company here.

The trade-off: its FAQ says SEO and its marketing technology typically need a 12-month contract, prices are not published, and a site built on a proprietary system is harder to move if you leave. Its own roofing page showed a large layout shift in our test.

  • Focus: Marketing plus its own technology for service businesses; says it has helped roofers for over 20 years.
  • Published price: Not published.
  • Terms: Typically a 12-month contract for marketing technology and SEO, per its FAQ.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 54/100 on mobile, main content in 1.7s, layout shift 0.307 (Google's limit is 0.1). scorpion.co

8. Built-Right Digital: best bundled monthly plan

Built-Right Digital focuses on home services and publishes four bundled plans that combine a website, listings, SEO and ads, from $1,199 a month. Its roofers page was the fastest we measured, and its roofing content ranks widely, which shows it practices what it sells.

The trade-off: the plans bundle ads and a website with SEO, so compare what you actually need before assuming the entry plan is the right one.

  • Focus: Home services marketing, roofing one of its core trades.
  • Published price: Bundled plans at $1,199, $2,099, $4,199 and $19,999 a month (website, listings, SEO, ads by tier).
  • Terms: Not stated on the roofers page.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 81/100 on mobile, main content in 1.6s. builtrightdigital.com

9. 1Digital: lowest entry price, with a 12-month commitment

1Digital publishes flat monthly plans for roofing SEO starting at $89 a month after launch, with no setup fees, and covers local pack work, service-area pages and storm and insurance content. That is the lowest monthly figure on this list.

The trade-off: a 12-month commitment. At $89 a month, ask exactly what is done each month.

  • Focus: General agency with a roofing SEO service.
  • Published price: Flat monthly plans from $89 a month after launch, no setup fees.
  • Terms: 12-month commitment.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 83/100 on mobile, main content in 3.8s. 1digitalagency.com

10. Profit Roofing Systems: roofing-only, with a guarantee claim

Profit Roofing Systems works only with roofers across SEO, ads and websites, and describes a guarantee and a no-risk system on its homepage, and it appears on the first page of Google for roofing marketing searches.

The trade-off: very little is published about price, terms or what the guarantee covers, so get those in writing before you sign.

  • Focus: Roofing-only marketing agency: SEO, ads, websites.
  • Published price: Not published.
  • Terms: Describes a guarantee and a no-risk system; details on request.
  • Their own site: PageSpeed 58/100 on mobile, main content in 4.4s. profitroofingsystems.com

What their own websites tell you

An SEO company’s own website is the one project it controls completely. Across the ten, only 3 loaded their main content inside Google’s 2.5 second target on a phone, and two took longer than 15 seconds. Authority varies even more: the strongest sites have over a thousand other domains linking to them, the smallest a dozen.

Homeowners meet a slow site the same way you just did: on a phone, in a hurry.

None of that decides the right agency for you on its own. A small specialist with low authority can do excellent local work, and a big brand can assign you a junior. But if an agency’s own site is slow, it is a fair question to ask on the first call, because speed is part of what you are paying them to fix. When we measured 342 roofing contractor websites, only 9 passed that same target.

Where Websloop fits, and where we don’t

We are not a monthly roofing SEO agency, and we did not rank ourselves. We build roofing websites and do SEO as a one-time fixed-price project: an audit, the fixes, and before and after documentation, from $799. That suits roofers whose website is the problem. If you need someone writing content and building links every month, one of the companies above is the right choice.

Many roofers do both: fix the site once, then hire a retainer only if the numbers justify it. Our roofing SEO company page shows exactly what our packages include, and our roofing SEO cost guide compares every published price above over 12 months.

How do you choose a roofing SEO company?

Write the questions down before the call, and the answers during it.
  1. Decide what you are buying: a one-time fix, ongoing content and links, or ads bundled in.
  2. Ask for a roofing client in your size range, by name, and check their map ranking yourself from their town.
  3. Get the monthly deliverables in writing: pages, profile posts, links, reports.
  4. Check the terms: month to month or 12 months, and what happens if you leave.
  5. Confirm ownership: the website, content, Google Business Profile and tracking numbers should be yours.
  6. Ask how they measure success: calls, forms and booked jobs, not only rankings.

Local SEO matters most for roofers because the map pack sits above the ordinary results. Any company you hire should talk about your Google Business Profile and reviews in the first call. Our guide to local SEO for roofing companies explains what that work involves.

Should you hire a roofing-only SEO agency?

Roofing-only agencies bring pattern knowledge: they know storm season, insurance work and which searches bring replacement jobs. The risk is templating and conflict, when the same team works for several roofers in one metro. Generalists bring range and more channels, with the risk that roofing is one of dozens of industries. CinchLocal’s one-roofer-per-market policy is one answer to the conflict problem; asking directly is the other.

Roofing-only agencies know the trade; generalists spread across many. Ask who else they serve near you.

SEO or PPC for a roofing company?

Illustration of SEO and PPC as two paths to roofing calls, organic growth versus paid clicks
SEO grows slowly and keeps going; PPC pays for every click.

PPC (pay-per-click ads) brings calls this week and stops when you stop paying. SEO takes months and then keeps bringing calls without a charge for each one. Several companies on this list sell both, and bundles can hide which part is working. Ask for the SEO results and the ad results to be reported separately. Our roofing lead generation guide compares published cost per lead for each channel.

Red flags when hiring a roofing SEO company

  • Guaranteed rankings. Google says it does not accept payment to rank a site higher.
  • No written monthly deliverables on a long contract.
  • Reports that show rankings but never calls or jobs.
  • You would not own your website, content or profile if you left.
  • Silence about your website’s speed and quote form, which is where most roofing leads are lost.

Our verdict on the best roofing SEO companies

For a roofing-only specialist without a lock-in, start with Roofex SEO. On a tight budget, Skill Mammoth publishes the lowest plans and 1Digital the lowest entry price if you accept 12 months. Established roofers with bigger budgets should talk to Hook Agency, and anyone worried about competing with their own agency’s other clients should talk to CinchLocal. The best roofing SEO agency for you is the one whose price, terms and deliverables you can get in writing, and if your website is the real problem, fix it first.
