Best HVAC marketing agencies 2026 comparison cover with 8 agency cards and price tags

The Websloop: web design for US roofing, plumbing and construction companies. We build fast, SEO-first websites that bring in calls.

Get a free quote

The best HVAC marketing agencies for most shops are RYNO Strategic Solutions for large multi-truck companies that can spend $5,000 or more a month, Hook Agency for growth-mode shops that want every price published before the first call, and Scorpion for companies that want one platform running the site, the ads, and the phones. Rival Digital, KickCharge Creative, Lemon Seed Marketing, Mediagistic, and CI Web Group round out the eight below, each with a different strength and a different trade-off.

People search for this as the best HVAC marketing agencies, best HVAC marketing companies, best HVAC SEO company, or HVAC marketing agency. It is the same shortlist.

Disclosure: Websloop is our company. We are not ranked below, because we are not a monthly marketing agency. We build HVAC websites and do SEO as a one-time fixed-price project starting at $799. Where we fit, and where we do not, is explained honestly further down.

What makes this list different

Most "best HVAC marketing agencies" lists rank their own publisher first. Thrive's list puts Thrive at number one, First Page Sage's puts First Page Sage first, Valve+Meter's puts Valve+Meter first. We did not do that.

For each agency we checked the same things on 11 October 2026: what price and contract terms it publishes on its own website, who it is built for, and what the trade-off is. Pricing figures below come from the agencies' own published rate cards, cross-checked against BaaDigi's September 2026 comparison of HVAC marketing agencies, which cites each agency's site directly. Where an agency publishes nothing, we say so instead of guessing.

What we did not measure: client results. No outside party can verify another agency's rankings or revenue claims, so we do not repeat them as fact.

How we compared

We started with the agencies that appear most often across Google's ranking roundups for HVAC marketing searches and in BaaDigi's measurement of 30 AI answers (Perplexity, ChatGPT, and Gemini) from 30 September 2026. Then we checked four things for each:

  1. Published price, read on the company's own site, not copied from another roundup.
  2. Contract terms, as the company states them.
  3. Fit: HVAC-only, home services, or a generalist with an HVAC practice.
  4. What changed recently: mergers, new badges, and AI search shifts that affect what you are buying.

1. RYNO Strategic Solutions: best for large multi-truck HVAC companies

RYNO is the biggest trades-focused name on this list. It became an HVAC-specific agency in 2011, says it has launched more than 1,000 HVAC websites, and merged with Blue Corona in October 2024, so older reviews under either name now describe the same company. In BaaDigi's test of 30 AI answers, RYNO (counting Blue Corona) was named in 21, more than any other agency. Its site states that clients fully own their website, content, code, and images, which answers the ownership question before you have to ask it.

The trade-off: there is no rate card, only the statement that clients typically invest $5,000 or more a month, and the contract term is not published. This is an agency for companies already doing serious revenue, not for a two-truck shop.

Focus: Home services, HVAC a core trade since 2011; merged with Blue Corona October 2024.
Published price: Not published; "clients typically invest $5,000 or more" a month.
Terms: Not published; "you fully own your website."

2. Hook Agency: best published pricing for growth-mode shops

Hook Agency is one of the few agencies in this space that puts its prices on its website: SEO from $2,800 a month, Google Ads management from $2,000, AEO at $4,000, Meta ads at $3,000, and websites at $12,000 or $24,000 spread over 12 months. It was named in 19 of BaaDigi's 30 AI answers, most often by Google's own Gemini. It says it works best with home service companies doing $3M to $15M in revenue, which is an honest filter most agencies never state, and you own the site and the ad account.

The trade-off: its own FAQ asks for a yearly commitment, and the revenue filter means smaller shops are not who the offer was built for.

Focus: Home services contractors, roughly $3M to $15M in revenue.
Published price: SEO from $2,800/mo; Google Ads from $2,000/mo; AEO $4,000/mo; sites $12K or $24K.
Terms: Yearly commitment, per its own FAQ; you own the site and ad account.

3. Scorpion: best all-in-one platform

Scorpion combines a marketing team with its own website platform, AI tools for ads and rankings, review management, and a 24/7 AI answering service. It has served home services companies for over two decades and is listed as a preferred marketing partner of ServiceTitan, the dispatch software many larger HVAC shops run on. In July 2026 it announced it was a technology partner supporting advertising inside ChatGPT, which matters now that AI answers are a paid channel as well as an organic one.

The trade-off: its FAQ says the marketing technology and SEO typically run on a 12-month contract, prices are not published, and a site built on a proprietary platform is harder to move if you leave.

Focus: Home services plus legal and medical; platform plus agency.
Published price: Not published.
Terms: Typically 12-month for marketing technology and SEO, per its FAQ; ads month-to-month.

4. Rival Digital: best trades-only mid-size team

Rival Digital works only with home service companies: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Its site is built around one promise, marketing systems for consistent call volume, and its founder Eric Thomas wrote The HOME Advantage, a book on growth for home service businesses. It runs local SEO, LSA management, pay-per-click, and web design under one roof, and it was named in 11 of BaaDigi's 30 AI answers.

The trade-off: no pricing and no contract terms are published, and it takes clients by intake month, so you may wait for a slot.

Focus: HVAC, plumbing, and electrical only.
Published price: Not published.
Terms: Not published; takes clients by intake month.

5. KickCharge Creative: best for a rebrand alongside marketing

KickCharge is a trades branding shop going back to 1995, known for truck wraps, logos, and visual identity as much as for digital work. It publishes four monthly packages, $3,500, $7,500, $11,500, and $16,500, with ad management included up to a stated ad spend in each package. If your trucks, uniforms, and website all need to tell the same story, this is the agency built for that job.

The trade-off: the three upper packages bundle a website in year one, which is part of the first-year price, and the contract term is not published.

Focus: Trades branding and marketing; truck wraps and visual identity a specialty.
Published price: $3,500, $7,500, $11,500, and $16,500 per month.
Terms: Not published; rate drops after year one once the site is paid off.

6. Lemon Seed Marketing: best branding-first team from inside the trade

Lemon Seed was founded in 2019 by Crystal Williams, whose family has owned and operated McWilliams Heating, Cooling & Plumbing since 1974. That is about as inside-the-trade as an agency founder gets. It is a brand strategy agency for the skilled trades: deep consultation on brand, messaging, and how the brand shows up on trucks, uniforms, and the website, rather than a pure lead-volume shop.

The trade-off: no pricing is published, and if what you need most is emergency-call lead flow this month, a branding-first agency is a slower answer than a PPC-first one.

Focus: Brand strategy for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Published price: Not published.
Terms: Not published.

7. Mediagistic: best published pricing by revenue tier

Mediagistic publishes starting prices for four revenue tiers, from $249 a month for shops under $1M to $8,750 a month at $5M and above, plus a la carte prices: Google Ads management from $2,000, Local Services Ads from $750, and Google Business Profile management at $1,000 per location. It also builds co-op compliant programs for manufacturers, distributors, and contractors, which matters if you are a dealer spending OEM money.

The trade-off: prices are "starts at," so the real quote can be higher, and the contract term is not published.

Focus: HVAC and home services; strong in traditional media plus digital.
Published price: From $249, $3,500, $6,250, and $8,750 per month by revenue tier.
Terms: Not published.

8. CI Web Group: best month-to-month option

CI Web Group states on its homepage that it requires no term contracts, with 30-day notice, and publishes a partial rate card: a $600 a month entry tier and an SEO/AEO/GEO agent from $1,000 a month. It leans hard into AI-driven marketing with its Hydra platform, and Google named it in 8 of 10 answers in BaaDigi's test. For shops that want to try an agency without signing a year away, the terms are the friendliest on this list.

The trade-off: the platform behind your site stays theirs. You keep the content and front-end design files, but the Hydra OS itself does not come with you if you leave.

Focus: Trades plus legal, medical, and financial; Houston, founded 2006.
Published price: Partial: $600/mo entry tier; SEO/AEO/GEO agent from $1,000/mo.
Terms: No term contracts; 30-day notice; you keep content and front-end files.

Where Websloop fits, and where we do not

This is our company, so read this section with that in mind. We are not a monthly marketing agency and we did not rank ourselves above.

We build HVAC websites and do SEO as a one-time fixed-price project: a website designed to turn "AC repair near me" searches into calls, local SEO foundations, Google Business Profile setup, and speed work, from $799. You own everything from day one: the site, the domain, the content, the logins. See our HVAC marketing agency page for the full program.

Honest pros: fixed prices published before you talk to us; you own every asset; no contract and no monthly fee; a slow or outdated website gets fixed once instead of rented forever.

Honest cons: we do not write content or build links for you every month; we do not manage ad spend; we are a small team, so we take on a limited number of builds at a time. If you need an agency running campaigns month after month, one of the eight companies above is the right choice. Many shops do both: fix the site once with us, then hire a retainer only if the numbers justify it.

How to choose by shop size

Under $1M: you may not need an agency yet. Claim and complete your Google Business Profile, put a review request into every finished job, and make sure someone answers the phone. If you do hire, published entry pricing matters more than brand names: Mediagistic's tier for this size starts at $249 a month, and CI Web Group lists a $600 entry tier.

$1M to $3M: flat published pricing and month-to-month terms matter more than brand, because a bad six months at $5,000 a month costs you a truck. Compare KickCharge's $3,500 package against CI Web Group's terms before you sign anything annual.

$3M to $10M: the agencies AI engines name most, RYNO, Scorpion, Hook, and Rival, all fit here. Hook's, KickCharge's, and Mediagistic's rate cards are the ones you can compare line by line.

$10M and up, or multi-location: RYNO and Scorpion have the paid-media scale for this stage. Mediagistic publishes a $5M-plus tier from $8,750 a month.

As a rough budget anchor, Cornerstone Advertising wrote on the ACCA blog in November 2025 that HVAC companies spend about 5% of annual revenue to hold steady, 8 to 10% to grow around 10%, and 12 to 14% for aggressive expansion. A $2M shop at 8% is about $13,300 a month across agency fees and ad spend.

HVAC demand arrives in waves. The agencies above sell programs built for both peaks and the shoulders.

Should you hire an HVAC-only agency?

An HVAC-specific agency already understands the two things that make this trade different: seasonality and technical complexity. An emergency AC repair call in July needs different content than a furnace tune-up promotion in October, and a homeowner choosing a $12,000 system has different questions than one booking a $150 service call. Marketing heat pumps in the Southeast is not the same job as marketing furnaces in the Midwest, and getting refrigerant rules or efficiency ratings wrong on your site costs you credibility.

The risk with specialists is templating and conflict: the same team may work for several HVAC companies in one metro. Ask how many HVAC clients they serve in your area. Generalists bring more channels and range, with the risk that HVAC is one of dozens of industries. Either way, ask for a named HVAC client in your size range and check their map ranking yourself.

SEO or PPC for an HVAC company?

PPC brings calls this week and stops the day you stop paying. SEO takes months and then keeps bringing calls without a charge for each click. For HVAC the honest answer is usually both, sequenced: paid search and Local Services Ads cover the peaks, the first heat wave and the January freeze, while SEO, reviews, and service-plus-city pages compound underneath all year.

Several companies on this list sell both, and bundles can hide which part is working. Ask for the SEO results and the ad results to be reported separately, and keep the ad account in your own name so the history stays yours if you leave.

What changed for HVAC marketing in 2025 and 2026

Ads arrived inside ChatGPT. In July 2026 Scorpion announced it was a technology partner supporting advertising in ChatGPT. AI answers are now a paid channel as well as an organic one, so ask any agency what it does there.

"Google Guaranteed" is gone. In October 2025 a single Google Verified badge replaced Google Guaranteed and the other Local Services Ads badges. Any proposal still selling the old badge was not written recently.

AI Mode reached every US user in May 2025. A homeowner asking which company services heat pumps nearby can now get a typed answer instead of ten links. Hook, CI Web Group, and First Page Sage now sell AI-search work by name.

Red flags when hiring

  • A term with no exit clause. Month-to-month, or a clear statement of what happens if you leave.
  • A website platform you cannot export. If the site stays theirs when you cancel, you rented, not bought.
  • A management fee that is not itemized from media. Know what goes to Google and what goes to the agency.
  • Any ranking guarantee. Google does not sell positions.
  • Reports that show rankings but never calls or booked jobs.
  • Silence about who owns the Google Business Profile and the ad account. Both should be in your name from day one.

Our verdict

For a large multi-truck shop, start with RYNO Strategic Solutions. If you want every price published before the first call, start with Hook Agency. If you want one platform running the site, the ads, and the phones, talk to Scorpion. On a tighter budget with no appetite for a contract, CI Web Group's month-to-month terms and Mediagistic's $249 starting tier are the friendliest doors in. Planning a rebrand at the same time, talk to KickCharge. Want a branding team that grew up inside an HVAC family business, talk to Lemon Seed. Want a trades-only mid-size team, talk to Rival Digital. And if your website itself is the problem, fix that first: it is the asset every agency above will send your paid clicks to. Our HVAC website design page covers the one-time fixed-price build, and the HVAC marketing agency page covers the full program.
