A website development company designs, builds, and maintains websites for businesses. The work covers custom design, front-end and back-end development, CMS setup, e-commerce, technical SEO, speed optimization, security, and ongoing support. Websloop is a website development company for small and mid-size US businesses, building SEO-first sites from $799 that clients fully own.

Most business websites fail in one of three ways: they look like everyone else's template, they load too slowly to keep visitors, or they were built with no SEO foundation so Google barely notices them. Hiring a website development company is how you skip all three. You get a site built around what your business needs it to do, by people who understand that the point of the site is calls, bookings, and sales, not a design award. It becomes your hardest-working marketing asset, earning visibility in search rather than renting attention through ads.

What a website development company actually does

Development is more than design. Design decides how the site looks; development decides how it works, how fast it loads, how Google reads it, and how easily you can update it. A real website development company handles the full stack: custom design, front-end and back-end code, CMS platforms like WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Duda, or Webflow, e-commerce, integrations with your booking and payment tools, technical SEO, speed work, security, and maintenance after launch. When one team owns all of that, nothing falls between the cracks: the design fits the platform, the platform fits the SEO, and the whole thing fits your business.

Our six pillars are website design services, WordPress development, Shopify and e-commerce development, website redesign, SEO and speed optimization, and maintenance and support. Most projects start with a build and grow into care plans and SEO, in that order. See our contractor website design work for what that looks like in practice.

Why most business websites never pull their weight

The pattern repeats everywhere. A template site that looks identical to three competitors. A site that takes six seconds to load on a phone, so half the visitors leave before reading anything. A beautiful site with no SEO foundation, invisible to Google. A site locked into a builder or an agency, where every small change costs a ticket and a wait. And behind all of it, no one to call when something breaks. Each of these is a development problem, not a design problem, which is why hiring a website development company beats hiring a designer for a business site.

Once the site is live and working, the next question is getting found. SEO is phase two for us, never an afterthought: see our website design and SEO services for the combined offer, or our contractor SEO program for trade businesses.

Website development vs web design: what is the difference?

Web design is the visual layer: layout, colors, typography, and how the pages feel. Website development is everything underneath and around it: the code, the CMS, the integrations, the speed work, the security, and the SEO foundation. You can buy design alone, but for a business site the design is only as good as the development carrying it. That is why our projects are development-led: the design is approved first, then built properly, so what you sign off on is what ships, fast and ranking-ready.

What you get

Professional web development services

Design, development, e-commerce, speed, SEO foundations, integrations, and care. One team, one fixed quote, everything you need to launch.

Custom website design and development

The core of professional web development services: a site designed from your business, not a template, then built properly. Discovery first, so we know what the site must do. Then design you approve, clean front-end and back-end development, testing on real phones, and a launch checklist. Every page is built to load fast, read well on mobile, and push visitors toward calling, booking, or buying.

Integrations and custom features

The pieces that connect your site to your business: CRMs, booking and scheduling tools, payment gateways, email marketing, review systems, analytics, and custom APIs. Custom CMS development services are available when WordPress or another platform needs to do something specific. We pick integrations that reduce your manual work, not add to it.

How it runs

How a website development project runs

01

Discovery and a fixed quote

We learn what the site must do: who it is for, what action visitors should take, what you sell, and what is broken about the current site. You get a fixed quote in writing with exactly what is included, the delivery window, and the price. No hourly billing, no scope that quietly expands.

02

Design you approve

Homepage and key page designs first, built around your content and your buyers, not a gallery of trends. You review and approve the look before a line of final code is written, so there are no surprises at the end. Revisions are part of the package, with the round count stated up front.

03

Build and quality checks

Development on the approved design: clean code, responsive on every screen size, speed optimization, SEO foundations, forms tested, analytics connected. We test on real phones and browsers, fix what breaks, and walk you through the site before it goes live.

04

Launch and ongoing support

Careful launch with redirects if you are replacing an old site, so you keep your rankings. Then post-launch support (15 to 90 days depending on package) while everything settles. After that, care plans are optional and quoted separately. The site, the domain, the content, and the logins are all in your name from day one.

Why us

Why businesses hire Websloop

Built for small and mid-size businesses

Most website development companies either chase enterprise contracts or sell cheap templates. We live in the middle: professional web development services sized for businesses that need the site to produce leads. Fixed prices, direct access to the lead developer, and delivery in weeks, not quarters.

Prices are public

Almost nobody in this space publishes prices. We do, down to the dollar, because a business owner comparing website development companies deserves numbers before a sales call. The quote you sign matches the price on the pricing page, line for line.

You own everything

The site, the code, the theme, the content, the domain, the logins, all in your name from day one, written into the agreement. If you ever leave, everything goes with you. Do not sign with any development company if cancellation means losing your own website.

We say what is not included

No native mobile apps, no paid ads management, no vague monthly retainers that drift upward. What is included is listed line by line in your quote, and what is not gets named before you pay. Honest scope is why clients stay.

Your website should work as hard as you do

Every month on a site that does not rank, convert, or load properly is a month of lost calls. We will give you a fixed price in writing, usually within one business day, and an honest answer on whether a new build is even what you need.
