General contractor website design, done properly, costs $799 to $2,499+ and takes two to four weeks. What you are paying for is easy to list: a portfolio that shows real completed projects, a page for every service you want calls for, a page for every town you cover, a quote form a homeowner can finish in under a minute, and trust signals that answer the question every GC prospect asks first. Can I hand this company a six-figure project and sleep at night. We publish our prices because almost nobody selling contractor web design does.

General contracting is a high-ticket sale. A homeowner choosing a GC is not buying a repair visit. They are choosing who tears apart their kitchen, adds a second story, or builds the house their family lives in for the next twenty years. That decision runs on proof. We build general contractor websites the other way around. Every page starts from one question: what does a homeowner need to see before they trust you with their home? Real project photos with real descriptions, the owner's face and name in the first scroll, license and insurance stated plainly, reviews pulled live onto the page. We have been building contractor websites since 2015, and every pattern on this page comes from that work.

What you get

What a general contractor website should do

Portfolio-first, trust-first, and built to turn a gallery visit into a signed contract.

Project galleries that sell high-ticket work

For a general contractor, the portfolio is the pitch. Nobody signs a remodeling contract without seeing finished work first. We design around it: a homepage hero showing your single most impressive completed project, filterable galleries organized by project type, kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, home additions, custom builds, ADUs, and before-and-after pairs that carry a short description of each job. A before-and-after with two sentences of story behind it converts because it is the closest thing to a referral a website can produce.

Trust signals built for big decisions

A general contractor asks for more trust than almost any other trade. So our sites put proof where the eye lands first: your license number, your insurance and bonding, your certifications and trade association memberships, and your Google reviews pulled live onto the page. We also put the owner on the page. Somewhere a visitor reaches in the first scroll, one real photo and one line: who runs this company and how long they have been building in this area.

A page for every service

Kitchen remodels and custom home builds are different searches from different buyers with very different budgets. So are bathroom remodels, home additions, ADUs, basement finishing, and commercial buildouts. One page listing everything ranks properly for nothing. We build a dedicated page for each service you want calls for, each one saying something true about that service: what it includes, what it typically costs, how long it takes, and what the finished work looks like with your photos.

Town and service-area pages

"General contractor" is a national search. "General contractor Round Rock" is a job. We build a page for every town you cover, each one written about the work you actually do there: the neighborhoods, the housing stock, the common project types, the permitting quirks. The town pages also let you speak to local project patterns. Older neighborhoods with aging kitchens, new suburbs adding ADUs, commercial corridors needing buildouts.

Local SEO built into the structure

Titles, headings, meta descriptions, image alt text, XML sitemap, and schema markup that names your trade and your service area. We mark the business up with LocalBusiness and GeneralContractor schema. We checked schema.org directly: GeneralContractor is a real, valid type in the vocabulary. Behind the scenes we also set up your Google Business Profile properly and build a review flow so every finished project has a chance to become a five-star review.

Who we are not for: Not the right fit if you want a DIY template you will build yourself, or if what you mainly need is paid ads managed. We build the website that turns project galleries into signed contracts and the local SEO under it; we do not manage ad spend.

How it runs

From first call to launch in two to four weeks

01

A short call

Fifteen minutes. We learn your services, your towns, your typical project sizes, and what a good job looks like for you. You get a fixed quote in writing, usually within one business day.

02

Content first, proof first

We map every page before designing anything: which services get pages, which towns get pages, what each page needs to say. For a GC, the proof assets matter most: your best project photos with before-and-after pairs, your license and insurance details, your certifications, your strongest reviews, photos of your crews. Send what you have.

03

Design and build

Two to four weeks depending on the package. You see the site on a staging link and get revision rounds included in the price, not billed extra. We test on real phones, because resized desktop browsers do not show what your customers actually see.

04

Launch and handover

If you have an existing site, we map every old URL to its new equivalent so you do not lose rankings, connect Analytics and Search Console, and hand over every login. The site, the domain, and the content are in your name from day one.

Why us

Why general contractors pick Websloop

We build for contractors and home services

That focus means we already know what a service page needs, what a town page needs, where GC sites leak leads, and how high-ticket trust differs from a quick service call.

Prices are public

Almost nobody in this space publishes prices. We do, down to the dollar, because a contractor comparing quotes deserves numbers before a sales call.

You own everything

The code, the content, the domain, the hosting account, all in your name, written into the agreement. No monthly lease on a site that vanishes if you stop paying.

We say what is not included

Ongoing SEO campaigns, paid ads management, and copywriting beyond the agreed pages are separate. We would rather tell you that now than surprise you later.

Get started

Ready when you are

Every month without a proper site is a month of six-figure projects going to the GC whose portfolio answered first. We will give you a fixed price in writing, usually within one business day.
